About the artist:

Lee Peng is originally from Taiwan and is principally active in the Kansai region. She started learning the erhu at the age of nine. She enrolled in the music specialty department of Yilan Luodong High School in 2007 and won one year later the special prize at the regional music competition. She then won the championship price at the 2009 national music competition.

In 2010, she entered the National Taiwan University of Arts, performing with famous domestic orchestras such as the Taiwan University of Arts National Orchestra and the "Small Giant" Atake Orchestra. Her personal performances in Japan have been very well received.

She then came to Japan from 2015 and entered the Osaka Kyoiku University in 2016. She appeared at the "ONE ASIA concert" as a representative of Taiwan in 2017, and also appeared in the recording of the Japanese program "Untitled Concert".

After passing a Master degree in education in 2018, she is now teaching Erhu as a cultural teacher in a Chinese school.
